Happy Fourth of July and Happy (early) Birthday Keegan
On Friday, we invited the family (by now, you know what THAT means) over for a true Fourth of July celebration - hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad and potato chips, along with my John Deere cake.
Some of my cousins went to the Martha Stewart show, and donated their decorations to our party. How festive!
In true PEI kindness, the "lawnmower tractor" man took me for a last tractor ride on the island. Afterward, we waited for our guests to arrive....all 51 of them! William, 3 weeks older than me;
his older sister Claire;

cousins Tanner (performing a karate move); and

Peyton (cheeks!).
Ga's siblings Marilynn, Michael, Ellie and Nora, with Peyton. Cousin Ruth Anne and cousin Josh. Cousin Rachel and her daughters Rebecca and Erin.
Cousin Leah and cousin Alexis. It was fabulous to see Phillip and Lorraine; Pam; Peter; Russell; Maribeth; Jennifer, David and Zoe; Jacinta & Chris (parents to William and Claire); Nora and James; Meemaw and Peepaw and dada; Leo and Marilyn, Donald and Kelly Mulligan, parents to Alexis and Jarrett; Jason and Karen; and Ruthann and Gary. A GRAND TOTAL OF 51 PEOPLE (and one cocker spaniel) attended the celebration!

No worries, there was plenty of cake!

On our way out of town, we FINALLY stopped at John Deere. We had passed it several times where my shrieking of "JOHN DEERE" got to incredible decibels, so mama and dada took me there on our way to do some last errands in Summerside. Who knew JD could be such a cool place?

Not only did I get to climb on some super cool tractors, there was a clothing section for mama to find me the "cutest" green tractor sweatshirt that I'll wear, like, never in Texas (good thing we're in MN for Xmas!) and a limited edition three part tractor series. Cool!

After that adventure, we packed up the cabin with the amazing help of Marilynn and Leo, and headed for home. I set a record by not sleeping one wink on the entire ten hour journey, but did sleep in the next morning. Overall, not so bad. I'll get to leave Texas again.

To all our friends and family in PEI, thanks a bunch for such a wonderful vacation. We can't wait until our paths cross again!
