On Wednesday morning, dada and peepaw went fishing with Jason and Uncle Leo, so mama and I went to the Park by the Confederation Bridge.

I'm awfully adventuresome with the slides these days. I also chased a lawnmower tractor along the fence for a long ways.

I played some with a little friend. He had a cool bulldozer that I wanted to get my hands on.

Flags for Canada's 10 provinces and 3 territories, but not all of them made the picture.
On Wednesday night, we went to Uncle Leo and Aunt Marilynn's hosue for dinner - we saw Kelly, Alexis and Jarrett too. Cousin Jason was, there, and he took me for a ride in the BIIIIIG blue tractor, Ford tractor, tractor, tractor. And we're off!

I'm at the wheel.

I'm dead serious about this tractor thing foks, don't even think I'm fooling around.
Peepaw and Uncle Leo watching the ride.
Oh yeah.

Cousin Alexis won her soccer game that night, and even scored a goal!
Thursday was another perfectly lovely day. Mama and dada went art shopping while I napped. They had a beautiful drive around the island, stopped into an art gallery and bought a painting. They also found two pictures of boats and lobster traps at a gallery near this dock.
On Thursday night, the family was invited to Uncle Russell and Aunt Karen's house. Uncle Russell is in the family oil business, but also runs a tree farm on his property. The house.
The guys surveying the land.
The trees, and
me running between the baby trees. My cousin Johnny took me for a ride on a big RED tractor!Peepaw was having a great time too! And WOW, Russel had like 4 more tractor type vehicles in his garage, like this Bull Dozer. And this 4 wheeler tractor. That's me and Russell.
The family shot from this gathering - Ga's oldest brother, Uncle Phillip, and youngest brother, Michael.
Happy Fourth of July and Happy (early) Birthday Keegan
On Friday, we invited the family (by now, you know what THAT means) over for a true Fourth of July celebration - hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad and potato chips, along with my John Deere cake.
Some of my cousins went to the Martha Stewart show, and donated their decorations to our party. How festive!
In true PEI kindness, the "lawnmower tractor" man took me for a last tractor ride on the island. Afterward, we waited for our guests to arrive....all 51 of them! William, 3 weeks older than me;
his older sister Claire;

cousins Tanner (performing a karate move); and

Peyton (cheeks!).
Ga's siblings Marilynn, Michael, Ellie and Nora, with Peyton. Cousin Ruth Anne and cousin Josh. Cousin Rachel and her daughters Rebecca and Erin.
Cousin Leah and cousin Alexis. It was fabulous to see Phillip and Lorraine; Pam; Peter; Russell; Maribeth; Jennifer, David and Zoe; Jacinta & Chris (parents to William and Claire); Nora and James; Meemaw and Peepaw and dada; Leo and Marilyn, Donald and Kelly Mulligan, parents to Alexis and Jarrett; Jason and Karen; and Ruthann and Gary. A GRAND TOTAL OF 51 PEOPLE (and one cocker spaniel) attended the celebration!

No worries, there was plenty of cake!

On our way out of town, we FINALLY stopped at John Deere. We had passed it several times where my shrieking of "JOHN DEERE" got to incredible decibels, so mama and dada took me there on our way to do some last errands in Summerside. Who knew JD could be such a cool place?

Not only did I get to climb on some super cool tractors, there was a clothing section for mama to find me the "cutest" green tractor sweatshirt that I'll wear, like, never in Texas (good thing we're in MN for Xmas!) and a limited edition three part tractor series. Cool!

After that adventure, we packed up the cabin with the amazing help of Marilynn and Leo, and headed for home. I set a record by not sleeping one wink on the entire ten hour journey, but did sleep in the next morning. Overall, not so bad. I'll get to leave Texas again.

To all our friends and family in PEI, thanks a bunch for such a wonderful vacation. We can't wait until our paths cross again!

And two more from the boat show...thanks to dada for the guest post, but mama's gotta make sure we've got it all. Look at me and Luke laid back in mama's "race car" [2007 Dodge Calibur, not so much]
Oooooh, Bear.
I pulled Bear's neck ribbon off the other night right before bed. Ga saved the day by sewing it back on. None of us knew what we'd do without bear...

(mama practicing effects on Picasa - you like?)
Mama couldn't resist posting this pic - my face, and Ga's body language, make her giggle.
Two more boat pictures...one of me and dada, and one of me and mama. Mama says she could get used to Sunday late morning boat rides...and you know I'm always game.

On Saturday afternoon, while I was lining up my vehicles on the cooler...
lots of GA's friends descended from Beaumont. There was great food, lots of laughter, a glass of wine or two, and fun for all. They sure enjoyed me. I tried to be an Angel, but

Something got ahold of me. Check out this fit!
Another trip to the beachWe are really making the most of Ga and Papa's new beach house. So much that I had to wake up at 5:30 (ahem, with dada who went fishing) on Saturday. I never do that, so mama and I enjoyed the morning.
I played with all my vehicles, as usual.
Lined them all up straight cause that's how I roll.

For Father's DayI got Dada new boat. I just felt like the other boat was not serving his needs the way I thought it should. I have been listening to Dada's fishing stories, going to several boat shows and countless trips to the boat dealers with Dada every Friday for just about two years, and I feel like this is the right boat for him. So I had a long talk with Mama, and I ordered the boat for him about 6 weeks ago. I have been paying very close attention to the construction, as this is a custum boat built just for Dada. Well here it is, it is a 19' Cat by Shoalwater Boats. It should float in 4-6 inches of water and run much faster than his old one. He should be able to burn the flats ( not doing any damage to the marsh grasses) while looking for the Redfish.

On Father's Day, Dada, PaPa and Luke's dad (Mr. Matt) drove down to Port O'Connor to pick up his new boat. I even woke up at 5:00AM to see them off (Mama was really happy with that one!). While they were down there, they decided to go ahead and do a little fishing.

Mr. Byman was very excited about the new boat! He even caught the first keeper! Although Dada had already gotten the new boat slimmed up with 3 fish before Mr. Byman or Papa caught any.

Papa had a great time! On the way back to the boat ramp he pointed out a school of feeding Jack Fish to Dada and Mr. Byman. Papa insisted they stop the boat so he could take another crack at his "White Whale". You will have to buy Papa a cold one someday so he can tell you the stories. Well they chased Papa's fish for 15 minutes before the fight was lost. Oh well, we will see that "White Whale" again, and Papa will beat him for sure!

High-Five Dada!! I love going on rides on your new boat!

I was so excited about new BIG/FAST Boats, called up Luke and had him go to the Summer Boat Show with me. We must have driven 100 boats today! Too bad Dada and Mr. Byman were tired and we had to go home. Here is a good picture of Luke and me show other customers some of the highlights of the Key West Stealth boat.
