Happy, happy second birthday, Laurence!

Mama's good friend Tess's second son Laurence turned 2 yesterday. Tess had a party to celebrate, and then flew to Las Vegas to be a voter protection person - how cool is that? I loved playing with Liam and Laurence's vehicle collection, which mama was astounded, beats mine by 10x. Maybe I can have a little brother someday, as that would surely increase my collection...

I got to ride on the boys' Jeep too.

But of course my favorite was the trampoline. I'm serious, guys, I would jump all day and all night if mama would let me. Can you hear me telling Liam "get up Liam, get up." Mama laughed at my funny little running legs.

Happy Halloween Harry!

Well Harry, it was finally time to do your 'thang -- scare all the poor kids in the neighborhood because despite the fact that I think you are pretty cool, those other kids don't. Oh well, more candy for me!

Dada took me around the neighborhood to trick or treat (mama's car got hit on the way home from work, so she was late for the festivities). I would say "trick or treat" all the way down the street, but only said "please" when I got to a door. Good manners gets you more suckers.
And let me tell you, I L-O-V-E suckers!
The whole family splurged on Sonic burgers and fries for dinner, served on Grandpa's fancy plates because he's always complaining that no one "uses" his art. Is this what you were thinking of Grandpa?
And then it was time for more suckers. Whee!

Dada and I got bored on Friday afternoon, so we went to buy a new toy. I am just getting really into trains (which mama blames on the several Thomas birthday parties we've attended recently), so that's what we got.
I so enjoyed my new train that I actually sat still and watched it.
Around and around.

Crazy Randy's grandaughter Kamryn came over for a visit. I tried to be good and let her play with my baby toys.

And I was sweet and gave her a kiss. I got more than I bargained for!

Take a trip to the playground... The weather has been awesome, so we've been exploring the neighborhood parks. Mama and dada took me here after we went pumpkin picking one morning.

I'm still a big fan of the swing.

And I love to climb up the slides. Good thing we were the only peeps at the playground!

Happy, happy, happy birthday GA! You deserve it.

We celebrated with Italian food that mama spent all day cooking, and an ice cream cake that mama spent all day baking. Why are mama's fingers crossed? Anyway, we all had a great time, even dada, who was nursing his leg after surgery.

Happy Birthday #2 to James!

This weekend we made the long hike out to Beaumont for James's 2nd birthday party. James is a huge fan of Thomas the Tank Engine - kind of like me and John Deere. Mama's been prepping me for weeks for the party by getting Thomas books at the library and talking about trains.

James had a pinata, just like Jackson. Pinatas are all the rage this year. Mama posted this pic because it was the only one that had us both in it! We both move so fast!

Personally, I was really into riding James's Thomas toys, and his motorized jeep. Guess what I'm getting for Christmas?

Mama wanted to go to the party to finally meet Hayden, Hannah's little brother, and son to Kelly (mama's law school buddy) and Gaile. And we also got to finally meet Bodie, James's baby brother. Sweet baby boys all over the place!

My very favorite part of the party was riding in the Kubota. I got a private ride from James's daddy too!

And we all got to ride behind the Kubota in the hay wagon. How cool was that?

We got train hat party favors, train whistles, and lots of candy that mama ate on the way home. I ate the sweet tarts.

Guess who's back? Yep, it's Harry.

Every year, well the past two at least, papa brings out Harry from the closet mama sticks him in right after Halloween. I love Harry.

When papa waves me in front of him, Harry laughs and lifts his head off his neck. I like to look inside and see his guts, which really cracks papa up.

Dewberry Farm

Two weekends ago, mama, ga and Staci took me to the Dewberry Farm while dada and Chris went to see the Texans lose, again. My favorite part was, no surprise, getting up in the BIG John Deere tractor. The front wheels were bigger than me!

I petted the chicks.

And looked at the rabbits with Staci.
And kissed the goat. Mama said gross. There was no amount of Purel that would take those germs off!I also kissed the fake pig for good measure. I was feeling particularly sweet that day.

There was a hay stack to climb. Mama and I rode on the corn huskers ride. It was bumpy and fun, and hot. October in Texas.

I also got to pick out my own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Here I am running around like a wild man picking the best one.

Happy Birthday #3 to Jackson!Yesterday, we went to Jackson's third birthday party. Jackson's mama doesn't mess around when it comes to parties. This year, he had a Pirates and Princesses party. Here's a picture of Jackson with his aunt. Jackson's mama was too busy running around cutting cake and entertaining to stop for a picture, but let me tell you, she looked really hot as a lady pirate! All the kids were to dress up as pirates or princesses. I gave mama WWIII when she tried to get me in this costume (and mama's a little nervous that I'm forever going to have a complex about it). I posed for this one picture at the party, and then promptly changed into my John Deere shirt. As you can see, I was much happier. Luke didn't mind his costume. He kept it on the whole time. We were best friends, jumping up and down in the jumper the whole afternoon. After jumping, we stopped for some lunch - hot dogs and cheetos and other good adult food too. Luke was like "hello, where are those cheetos you promised me???"
Luke's mama Allison and his brother Davis. Dada and Luke's daddy Matt were fishing, so mama tried to help Allison with both boys. Mama's not sure how she does it! And looking good, to boot. Jackson's mama even found a treasure chest pinata. When it finally got busted open, the kids were loving life finding all those candies and collecting them in the bags.
Luke and I checked out the alligator that lives in the pond behind Jackson's grandparent's house. You can see Luke pointing to him. We were on our best behavior for fear that if we were not, we'd be fed to the alligator!

Luke and I shared really well at the party, even these candies. Thanks for a great party, Jackson!

Tonight was our second "Take and Make" project. Technically, we think it was due today, but better late than never, right?

Ga helped this time because dada was still at work.

We made quite a masterpiece, don't you think?

When mama came home on Sunday, I showed her my special mud pit. I like to drive my tractors and bulldozers in there and move some dirt around.
