Guess what I did today?!?!I made poopoo in the potty! Ga's been training me for a few weeks on my brand new talking toilet, but I just didn't have the patience to sit for very long. Today she kept me sitting long enough for it to happen by having me put lotion on each of my toes. Mama and dada found out the good news when Ga emailed them a picture of my poopy. Gross. I'm just glad mama didn't find that picture blogworthy. This potty thing isn't official though, because I took four more poops throughout the day, and none of them on the potty. Well, you've gotta start somewhere!
A few more pics from Ga's camera... On the ferry on the way over to Crystal Beach.
Breakin' the rules with Ga.

Meemaw wasn't sure she wanted me to go on the boat.
Coming back from my first boat ride in dada's boat.

Dad and I got bored on Sunday afternoon so we decided to go to Gander Mountain on 290.
It was much better than the one in Sugar Land. The store was loaded with all of these great animals.
The Monkey was my personal favorite. I was yelling MONKEY all though the store. I made sure everyone at Gander Mountain knew what the monkey says - Uh-Uh-Ei-Ei!!!

Twenty months...
On Friday, I turned twenty months. Where has the time gone? Somehow, I've transformed from a baby to a little man. I hear all my friends are becoming "big boys", so I guess I decided it was time to pony up too, minus the siblings they are all getting (not yet, says mama). I am getting very daring as I come of age, performing such stunts such as forward rolls out my playhouse window and jumping off the couch onto the piles of cusions I threw off (while mama crosses her fingers that I don't break my neck, oh how my poor mama stresses). I am a pretty good eater, and still prefer fruits (especially burries, aka berries, and or-eenge, aka orange) and veggies (skash, aka squash, tomatoes), but will tear up a turkey dog or fish sticks if you give them to me, not to mention CHEESE! I repeat what I hear, so beware what you say. I say all kinds of words, too many to count, but I really am into "sneakers" right now. Just saying that word makes me laugh. I give wet, snotty kisses if you ask, and hugs where I smash my head into yours. I now demand lemons in my water, which makes it juice. As per the previous post, my favorite thing is the boat, and I am the captain, ahoy!

I'll drink to that!
Ok people, I'm serious, it's like right around the corner!
Gumbo night We're still not sure how it happened, but for some reason Justin and Randy got together to make duck gumbo, and mama, dada and Ga were the proud recipients. It was really delicious, or so I hear. I went to bed before it was served.
Serious gumbo, folks.

Justin came early to hang out with me.

Weekend visit with Grandpa and Meemaw from Chicago.
Last weekend the G-parents visited from Chicago - we had a blast as usual. On Friday, dada and Gpa went to the beach early to fish. The rest of the family met them there for lunch at Stingaree - mama can't get enough of the Oysters Jubilee platter. Before they packed in the boat, I got to go on my maiden voyage in the Intercoastal Canal. I had such a good time that now mama and dada can't walk past the boat in the garage without me begging to go in it. I love the boat and am constantly on the look out for other "fishy boats." I named Grandma Meemaw this weekend. Now she's a true "Texas" grandparent.
On Saturday, mama and dada had a small crawfish boil because Grandpa loves to eat the mud bugs. I don't see what the big deal is...
As usual, mama bought to many crawfish, so we called Justin in to help finish them up. Who knew such a skinny guy could eat so much?
I am mastering my arm - in hopes that I have a future in baseball or football. One thing's for sure, I'm all boy.
Ruthie, an inner-looper, made the long trek to Katy to see me and my grandparents. It was so great to see her!
Chillin' with mama.
Meemaw took me on such a long wagon ride, everyone wondered where we went off to - the park, sillies~
After I went down for a nap, the adults went to the Family Man room for a little Guitar Hero. It was Ruthie's first time, but she was obviously having a good time! On Sunday, the family left me with my buddy Cindy so that they could go out for sushi.
I'd rather stack blocks anyway!
Mama got a picture of my buddy in New York, Reese Caroline Williams, daughter of law school lady, Julia, and Carl Williams. She's three weeks, born on Valentine's Day. Aawwww, such a cutie!

Katy High School Rodeo
Dada heard that the Katy High School Rodeo was going on this weekend, so he and mama figured they would stop by to check it out on Saturday night. They never guessed it would be so big. We could hardly find a parking spot in the place, and even when we finally go the car parked, the line was around the block to get into the rodeo. We decided to skip the rodeo and visit the horses and the Midway (the fair) instead. I got to pet Ned. He was very gentle and sweet, even when I stuck my fingers up his nose.
Mama took me on my first carousel ride. She wanted to puke after, but I was fine.

Dada and I played darts to win a stuffed animal cow. Check out my cowboy boots! By the way, we did not do any time travel to the rodeo - we have no idea why the camera thought it was November, 2004...
What's better than the weather in February in Texas?
Dada took his boat out on Saturday to get it ready for a fishin' trip on Sunday. I "helped" him to clean it up.
I also took a spin at the wheel. I am so ready to go out on the water, but mama's not too sure.
While we were outside, the ice cream man came. Who ever heard of the ice cream man coming in February?

It was a no brainer on what kind I would get. Spiderman, of course. Mama ate the gumball eyeballs, but I took good care of the rest. After I got all messy with ice cream, I played in a mud puddle on the side of the house so that mama had no choice but to give me a good bath. I love the bath!
New books in the mail!
Mama ordered some new books in the mail from Amazon. I'm really into the "David" books right now, so she got me No David No, which I found very funny, especially when David escapes nudey from his house. I giggle whenever I see that picture. So does mama. Dada hopes I'm not planning to do the same.

Sometimes I like to read myself. Here I am just chillin'.

Go take a walk On Sunday morning, mama and I celebrated the fabulous February weather with Tess and her sons Liam and Lawrence. After pushing Liam and Lawrence in Tess' stroller for about ten paces, mama decided I'm going to be an only child (just kidding grandparents!).
We crossed a bridge over muddy water that caught mama's eye for some reason.

We stopped to check out the dam too.
High five Liam! Sweet job on getting our mamas together. Let's do this again soon!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I helped Ga make cupcakes. I was a big help. First I put the cupcake holders in the pan, but only a skilled chef can balance them on their noggin first. Then I licked the beaters while Ga filled the cupcake holders.
Then I ate a cupcake - red velvet with pink strawberry frosting. It doesn't get better than this.
I also got gifts from Ga. Nothing from mama and dada, hmpf.

This is my favorite, because as fun as Valentine's Day is, it's no match for St. Patty's Day!
Babies, babies everywhere...

We are happy to announce the birth of Reese Caroline Williams to proud mommy and daddy Julia and Carl. Julia was one of mama's law school buddies that went to work in NY. Reese was born on Valentine's Day at 9:32 pm after only four hours of labor, weighing in at 6lbs, 15oz and 20.5 inches long. The family is all home from the hospital and doing well. We'll post pics when we get them.

And born just a few hours later was Hayden Gaile Henry, son of Kelly and Gaile and brother to Hannah. Kelly is another law school lady. In fact, all of mama's law school friends are prego again or have had their second (and no, mama is not prego, for those wanting to ask). Hayden was born at 4:33 am, weighed 7lbs, 3oz, and was 19 1/4 inches long. Hayden is cute, cute, cute, pictured below. It won't be long before he's running around with the other boys in our crowd!

On Sunday evening, I went to my buddy Kyler's two year birthday party. I brought him a super cool Elmo guitar that I really wanted to keep but mama insisted was a gift for Kyler. Kyler's party was at Pump it Up, one of those bouncy places. I had a blast! My favorite bouncer was the one with basketball hoops. I ran up and down the court until I finally could not run anymore, believe it or not.
Dada even got into the action...
and took me down the gigantic slide. It's tough work getting up it, but the ride down makes it all worth it!
My buddy Mike took me down another slide. Mama caught my faux-hawk in rare form.
Sesame Street Live
On Saturday evening, we met our buddies Allison, Matt and Luke at Reliant Center to see Sesame Street Live. Mama and dada can't believe that every single child in that theater knew Elmo's name, but they did. It's uncanny. I was quite intrigued with Elmo, but really couldn't have cared less for the other characters. It was almost a riot when Elmo left the stage!
Luke sat nicely in his parents laps, while I insisted on standing up and doing happy feet during the show. Luke was able to make it until intermission - I had to go for a walk way before intermission. Oh well, that's just the way I roll.

Maybe if my parents got me popcorn like Luke's did, I would have sat in their laps. Then again, maybe not.
