My Ga has a serious green thumb. Just look at her priddy roses.
When I'm not ridin' around...
I'm learnin' to pick only the RED tomatoes, not green (of which there are an abundance, get ready!).

And then poppin' 'em right in my mouth. Delicious.
This was at Cindy and Brittany's graduation party - they are two of dada's dear students, and my babysitters, off to college and we will miss them. Congratulations ladies!!!
Last Saturday was the last class of the spring session at the Little Gym. We are taking off the summer because we'd rather be at the beach at Ga and Papa's house. I will really miss the bubbles - look how much we love them!
Last weekend after we got back from the beach, I was feeling very crabby. So, mama plopped me in the tub with finger paints and let me go to town. See my masterpiece! I felt much better after, having fully released my creative juices by banging my paint-loaded hands on the wall. I even helped mama wash it off after.
Last weekend, Ga and Papa had a party so that all their friends could come down to see the beach house progress and enjoy dada's fish catching bounty. Luke and I aren't real big on fish yet, so we shared a plate of turkey dogs and watermelon instead. Luke was very well behaved, as usual, and sat still in his chair while he was eating, while I ran circles around the table, only stopping for a quick bite.
Luke, Mr. Byman and I played in dada's kayak.
The Howell's boys visited too. In this picture, they were catching a frog. Luke apparently doesn't suffer from the same fright of frogs as his mama. I wasn't a huge fan either, and preferred to stay in the kayak.
My other buddies Liam and his older brother Logan came over too. We got Uncle Chris to pull us for a ride in the wagon.
Papa tried on his kilt he got for Xmas for everyone at the party. Doesn't he look snazzy? Well, except for the shoes - we need to get him some next shoes for Xmas.
Of course, there was time for playing in the sand, but we didn't make it down to the beach. It was too crazy with all the drivers and a high tide.
Thanks to everyone that came down - we all had a great time - even Mac!
Last weekend mama and dada's friend Laura came to visit with her husband Bart. Laura used to live in Beaumont in "the olden days." Now Laura and Bart live in Kentucky, but Laura has a good friend in San Antonio that she comes to visit about once a year. While she's there, she makes the trek to Katy to visit mama and dada. Laura came to visit last year before I was even walking. What a big change! This time we went out for Mexican food and the adults all watched me get seriously dirty in the restaurant sandbox. Sand in your fahitas? Thanks for visiting guys! One of these years, we'll go to San Antonio!
After visiting the Bymans and enjoying their water table, Ga bought me one on one of our shopping trips. She figures I can stay cool while she tends to the garden.
The yard is looking awfully colorful these days.
The garden has taken off. We've had a mess of green beans several times, and Ga is storing them for the winter.
I'm a big help in the garden.
Remember how mama posted that I love to jump. Here is an action shot caught by Ga this afternoon. Note that not a single part of my body is touching the slide. I like to stand at the top, jump off, and hope that I hit a little bit of slide on the way down. Poor Ga. I tell her the Leprechauns make me do it.
On Sunday, we stopped at the Bymans for a quick visit on the way home from the beach. Mama wanted to meet Davis, Luke's little brother.
Davis' bilirubin count is high, so he needed to tan. Mama was happy to hold him outside in the sun to help out the Bymans. Nothing like a warm baby. Look at him, looks like he's grinning!
Sweet baby Davis.
My papa got a new lawnmower for down at the beach. He can cut the grass fast. I begged and begged for a ride. At first, I called it a tractor, but now I know the difference between a tractor and a lawnmower.

Today was my 22nd month birthday. Time flies when you're having fun, and let me tell you, I'm having a ball. Watch what you say around me, because I repeat everything, even sentences now, like "Keegan, what are you doing???", which I hear mama say a lot. She calls me a nut. I love to jump, especially off things like the couch and sofa. I used to at least cushion my fall with pillows, but I'm much braver now. I stand on the edge of the couch, turn around and say "bye", and jump off. Poor mama and ga's hearts are getting stronger, or weaker, by the day. I love all vehicles, especially BIG BOATS and BIG TRACTORS. I'm also a fan of the bulldozer, planes and trains. Speaking of, my favorite books right now are The Little Engine that Could and Curious George (aka monkeys). At the end of the books, I say "again"? Mama usually falls for it. I love to eat "mummies" (aka gummy fruits) and drink "juice" (water with lemon slices) - the old staples of tomatoes, squash and berries are good too. Still love pa-cicles (popsicles), even if I do have to endure getting my nails cut some of the time to get one.
We're headed to the beach this weekend to finish painting. I'm sure I'll be a huge help.
Mama had to take a moment to brag on Peepaw....he made this plate out of glass for mama's birthday. Peepaw used to turn wood into beautiful bowls, but once he mastered that medium, he moved on to glass. We're all wondering what he's going to work with next, as it's pretty clear he's on his way to mastering glass as well. Isn't this piece stunning?
The happy couple are cranking along on the beach house. A lot of rooms are painted and all the flooring is down. Mama and dada are going down this weekend to, cross your fingers, finish up the painting. After that it's moving time. Remember, mark your calendars for the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend - the official kick off party!!!
