Dada went to Cancun two weeks ago to celebrate Mike's, one of his best friends from college, wedding. Mama was not able to go so Dada shared a room with Crazy Richie, Just likethe old days in college Richie showed Dada some of his new magic tricks.

I don't think there was a hot tub in Richie and Dada's room in college, and I'm sure the maids didn't leave a towel swan when they cleaned. What were those resorts maids thinking? Honeymooners??
Dada and Richie finally caught up with Mike. He was a very busy guy. Can you believe they found him in the resort bar? That was the very last place they looked for Mike. In fact they just passed it by on their way back to the room to call it an early night.
Here is a picture of Mike and Keri at the wedding. Dada is soo happy for Mike, the BIG SWEETIE. They make a great couple! Welcome to the family Keri. Now Let's celebrate this wedding!!!
After the wedding, some Mexican guy named Don Julio Blanco, talked Richie into taking a dive into the pool.
Looks like Mr. Don Julio was talking to everyone.
Mike took advantage of the situation and washed his socks while in the pool. Maybe that Don Julio fella was pretty smart after all.
Dada, Richie, and Mike send their best from Cancun. Best of luck to Mike and Keri, can't wait to meet you guys.

Boys trip to Dewberry Farm

Yesterday mama and I went to Dewberry Farms with Stacy and Jackson, Allison and Luke, and friends Marsha and Barry. It was quite a crowd. The boys were not happy sitting in the strollers while moms bought tickets. But, it wasn't long before we got to run free. Here I am in the mini pumpkin patch with my bud Luke in the background, playing with Barry and Marsha. We just "officially" learned that Luke is going to be a big brother. Mama keeps saying she can't imagine how Allison is chasing Luke and carrying another baby - whatever that means. Guess there are no more babies in the immediate future over here. Fine with me.
I'd rather play with a tractor any day. I don't want to sit on the tractor, but I like to push the tractor. This is a nice view of the farm, and Barry and Luke sitting by the duck pond.
Whoa! Now that is one big pig. And no, I didn't wet my pants. My sippy cup leaked in my stroller. Really.
Luke and I enjoyed a friendly game of duck race. Then I tried to eat the duck. Mama was scared I was going to contract foot and mouth disease, so we moved on to another activity.
Luke and I fed the goats. Too bad Jackson didn't make it into any pictures. He's a year older than us so he was seriously on the move!
The slide may have been my favorite part of the farm.
I was so proud of myself each time I climbed to the top...
I would look down at mama...
And then rush down giggling like a little piggy. Sweet! Hope to see you boys soon, oh and the ladies too.

Trip to Ga and Pawpaw's future beach house
Last week, Ga, Pawpaw, dada and I went down to the beach to stake out Ga and Pawpaw's future beach house. They are going to start building this winter, if those government folks ever approve the sewer system. Does anyone have any connections in the Galveston sewer district? Any who...
After we staked out the property, I helped Pawpaw hammer in the stakes, no small feat as the hammer weighs two and a half pounds, about one-eighth of what I weigh.
Phew, this is hard work. There's no free ride with my grandparents.
After we pounded the stakes, we stopped by the Maguires for a cold beverage. I hung out with my bud Johnny.

And then I passed out on the way home to Katy. All that pounding will really take it out of a little fellow.
I'm back! Spiderman is here to save the day, this time completely decked out from head (eye mask [worn on my forehead] and skullcap)... to toes (Spiderman shoes). I am one serious superhero.
We trick or treated at 3 neighbors' houses. I saw a HUGE purple spider along the way that I just had to check out.

And then we went home to give candy out to all the other kids. Truthfully, I liked giving more than getting. Maybe that's because mama only let me eat one half of one mini kit-kat.

Guitar Hero III
After a quick lesson from dada...

I was rocking out like a juke box hero. Anyone want to come over and jam?

Happy Halloween, almost. Today we went to the Little Gym for their Halloween party. It was lots of fun. I got to run around in my Spiderman costume. I even kept on my hat, for about three minutes. There was no way I was going to put on my face mask. Mama and dada will try again on Wednesday, but no promises. My friend Ross dressed up like Shrek; he takes class with me on Saturday. Ross is in the background on the right. I don't know the dragon or pumpkin.
I used my Spidey-senses to lead me through the maze.
I even wore my Spiderman backpack, and my instructor gave me some animal crackers to put inside. I get to eat them for dessert tonight. Yum! No need for candy bars when you can have animal crackers.
Board Break-a-Thon for DARE
On Saturday, the Booster Club at dada's taekwondo school held a board break-a-thon to support DARE in Katy. Mama and I went to watch. I'm not ready to break boards, yet. Maybe next year...
Mike kept me company for a bit when I was getting antsy sitting in my stroller.
This is my babysitter, Cindy, cracking through a board with a flying side kick. Cindy raised a lot of money for DARE. She might have had more boards to break than anyone. Cindy is tough on those boards, but very sweet to me.

The Booster Club raised $4500 in all. Congrats guys, and good job!
Hanging out with the guys after the Texans' game. Too bad they can't win one to save their lives. Poor dada, all he wants is a win!

I have a grandpa Bill, an uncle Bill, and now I have a second cousin, Bill. Bill is papas' sister's son. He is from Vermont and came down to visit his "uncle and aunt" for a long weekend, and to help out at the Celtic Festival (see below). Bill was fun.
Look at my roundy pumpkin face!

Celtic Festival in Lake Charles, Louisiana
A couple weekends ago (yea, we know, we know), mama, dada and I went to the Celtic Festival. It used to be held in New Orleans, but after Katrina, they decided to make a go of it in Lake Charles. When we got to the Festival, I had quite a thirst from the long truck ride.
Mmm, Guinness gives me strength.
Papa stopped to say hello on one of his many treks to keep the entertainment nourished (ie bring them beer).
After a little snoozer at the hotel, we went back to the festival and watched the sun set over Lake Charles. It was actually pretty nice. Lovely view of the casinos across the lake.
I got in some cuddle time with Ga....
while 'da men watched an Irish performer.
We were all pooped when we got back to Katy Sunday night. I know this isn't a good picture, but mama laughed out loud when she came upstairs and found me and dada watching tv, with half the tv on The Best of Elmo (you can see Elmo on the left side of the screen), and the other on the Sunday night football game. Dada says this parenting thing is a snap!

Yo, Mario Williams from the Texans was supposed to sign autographs at the HEB. Dada and Ga took me, but Mario had to cancel. Bummer. Go Texans!
